Our planet is experiencing evolutionary change. Most of the prophecies about 'End Times' or '2012' have been voided and humanity is on new track that will lead to one that supports and enforces higher levels of consciousness.

One Mayan prophecy that has been fulfilled is that we are entering a New Age dominated by space or the aether. Since 1989, our world is experiencing the new phenomena of Space Weather, which is the combined bombardment of solar, cosmic and galactic cosmic energies. Another prophecy is the arrival of a 'Serpent Rope' which has been identified as a Space Weather feature and can be simply explained as how excess electromagnetic energy is stored around a planetary body.
As our planet is now under a constant bombardment of 'New Energy', the planet's vibration has been raised and the electromagnetic grid has shifted in response, this was first noted in 1997 by Russian scientists. Most researchers in consciousness agree that a magnetic grid shift will have a profound effect on human consciousness.

Planet Earth and near Earth space is currently experiencing a myriad of new phenomena, currently being documented by scientists around the world. Yet, ALL the planets in our solar system have also undergone massive change in the last few decades and even planets and plutoids furthest away from the Sun have experienced "global warming".
Metaphysical sources have explained that since 1989, we experienced an initial almost homeopathic increase in energies. However, this was steadily increased and since 2007, this has now become a massive exponential rise that will take us to a new vibratory level at around 2012. Scientifically, some scientists have even noted that Earth's bombardment by gamma rays even seems like we are being 'targeted' and the latest blasts have been 'unprecedented'.

The magnetic field of our planet has been steadily decreasing for 100 years, but in recent decades, parts of the Earth's field have declined to such an extent that geophysicists believe that a flip of the Earth's North/South magnetic alignment is "imminent". In reality, this could be anywhere between now and the next three thousand years. Whatever, this is currently a major problem, especially for satellites that have to pass over these regions, to the extent that sensitive electronics are routinely shut down to protect them against severe cosmic radiation.
NASA has announced in September 2008 that the whole of our solar system is losing it's shielding as the pressure from the solar wind has declined by 20% and the Sun's magnetic field also dropped 30% since the mid 1990s. Scientists even speculate that our shielding against cosmic and galactic energies could 'evaporate'. Whatever, the paleoclimatic evidence is that whenever this has happened in the past, there has also been accompanied by climate change, mass extinctions and evolutionary change.
NASA announced in December 2008 that the Earth's magnetic field is experiencing configurations that permit massive breaches to develop, which allows the solar wind into the Earth's magnetosphere. This means that we can expect massive solar and geomagnetic storms in the future that will impact humans as well as our satellite communication infrastructure, national power grids and pipelines.
